Shiva’s Delight Neroli Repair Balm Review

For those who’ve happened upon some of my past Instagram stories or follow along on the blog, you’ve probably noticed that I’m a huge fan of Shiva’s Delight’s vegan skincare. I was introduced to this brand almost a year ago and was immediately impressed with the quality (and longevity) of their products. Since then, I’ve consciously worked to swap my old skincare with products from this eco-friendly and cruelty-free company. At the end of the day, I want my self-care routine to reflect the way I want to live on this planet and keep my body happy and healthy. Shiva’s Delight continues to tick all those boxes for me. Plus, I love supporting local!

My eyes have always been an iffy area for me, with a dry puffiness setting up camp beneath my peepers every now and then! In previous years, this problem has seemed to increase with the use of makeup remover wipes. More often than not, I found I could literally peel little pieces of dry skin from my eyelids! (EW! WHAT THE HECK WAS IN THAT STUFF?!) Since having corrective eye surgery a year ago, I’ve been extremely careful using eye makeup and creams – no harsh chemicals for me! I’m conscious of what I put on my face now and was thrilled when Shiva’s Delight created an ocular balm that I could safely use instead!

The Neroli Repair balm has been a wonderful addition to my skincare regimen. Like all of Shiva’s Delight’s products, it has a very concentrated formula so a little goes a long way. I only have to run my finger lightly over the top of the balm and I’ve got all I need to sufficiently moisturize each eye. Since there are no artificial perfume additives (only a lovely natural floral scent!), I don’t have to worry about skin irritation. Ever accidentally rub product into your eye? Ouch! Free of harsh fillers or chemicals, it’s made only with a blend of natural and organic plant ingredients. I’m so thankful I can finally reach for a product that I trust so close to my eyes!

Because neroli boasts both rejuvenating and regenerative properties, it is an incredible tool in combating fine lines and wrinkles. Wonderfully hydrating, it’s often used to treat inflammation that can occur from dermatitis or eczema. If your hands and lips are quick to crack or chap, this balm can also be used as a moisturizer. It’s a great multi-purpose product! Green coffee bean extract helps brighten dull, lackluster (and acne-prone!) skin while its powerful antioxidants aid in cell rejuvenation, helping improve texture and firmness. Since using this balm, I’ve noticed a smoothness to the area under my eyes; my skin has definitely lost it’s bumpy feeling! I appreciate its soft, lip chap quality – I actually feel like it’s doing it’s job and not just sitting on top of my skin. I don’t wear makeup as often as I used to, so I rely on good quality skincare products to keep things in check when my face is bare. This balm does a fantastic job!

For those who have struggled with dry and irritable undereye skin (or if you’re looking for a safe way to keep this skin healthy and bright), I highly recommend giving this balm a try. And in collaboration with this awesome company, I’m gifting you all your very own discount code (yay!) – stock up on all your faves or introduce some new products into your routine!
